Troubleshooting
Outlook Is Not Accepting My Password
If Outlook does not accept your Microsoft 365 password:
- Verify that you entered the correct work email address.
- Confirm your password is entered correctly.
- Open a web browser and visit https://outlook.office.com.
- Attempt to sign in using the same credentials.
If you cannot sign in through the browser either, contact True Synergy Networks for assistance.
Important: If you have forgotten your Microsoft 365 password, contact True Synergy Networks. Do not repeatedly guess your password, as this may temporarily lock your account.
Microsoft Authenticator Is Not Working
If you cannot complete your Microsoft Authenticator verification:
- Make sure your phone has an active internet connection.
- Open Microsoft Authenticator and check for pending sign-in requests.
- Verify that the account displayed matches your work account.
- Confirm that your phone’s date and time are set correctly.
If you no longer have access to your registered authentication method, contact True Synergy Networks.
Security Reminder: Never approve a Microsoft Authenticator request you did not initiate.
Outlook Is Not Receiving Emails
If Outlook opens but your emails are not appearing:
- Confirm your device is connected to the internet.
- Close and reopen Outlook.
- Allow a few moments for synchronization.
- Check whether your emails appear at https://outlook.office.com.
If your emails appear in the web version but not in the application, contact True Synergy Networks for further assistance.
Outlook Says Administrator Approval Is Required
Your organization may restrict which applications or devices can access Microsoft 365. If Outlook requests administrator approval or indicates your organization requires additional security configuration, contact True Synergy Networks. Do not attempt to bypass your organization’s security restrictions.
Security Reminder: Only download Microsoft Outlook from official Microsoft sources, the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store. True Synergy Networks will never ask you to share your Microsoft 365 password with a technician. If you receive an unexpected sign-in request or suspect unauthorized account access, contact True Synergy Networks immediately.
