Overview
Keeper Password Manager is a secure password management solution provided through True Synergy Networks. Keeper allows you to securely store usernames, passwords, passkeys, and other sensitive information in an encrypted digital vault. Instead of remembering a different password for every website, you can use Keeper to organize and access your login information from approved computers and mobile devices. Keeper also includes KeeperFill, a browser extension and mobile autofill feature that helps you sign in to websites and applications without manually entering your saved credentials. This guide explains how to activate your Keeper account, sign in, install the appropriate applications, and prepare Keeper for everyday use.
Before You Begin:
- Make sure True Synergy Networks or your organization’s administrator has assigned you a Keeper account.
- Have access to your work email address.
- Confirm that your computer or mobile device has an internet connection.
- Use a supported browser or operating system.
- Have your organization’s approved sign-in method available.
- If your organization uses Microsoft 365 Single Sign-On, have access to your Microsoft 365 account.
Important: Keeper accounts and authentication methods are managed by your organization. Some users sign in with a Master Password, while others use Single Sign-On (SSO). Follow the method assigned to your account.
Understanding Your Keeper Vault
Your Keeper Vault is your personal encrypted storage area.
You can use it to securely store:
- Website usernames and passwords.
- Application login credentials.
- Passkeys, where supported.
- Secure notes.
- Two-factor authentication codes, where permitted.
- Other approved business credentials.
Depending on your organization’s permissions, Keeper may also provide shared folders containing credentials that authorized coworkers can access.
Important: Do not share your personal Keeper account with coworkers. Shared business access should use approved Keeper sharing features.
Your organization may also apply security policies that control how your vault is accessed and used.
Step 1: Activate Your Keeper Account
Open Your Invitation
- Open your work email account.
- Locate the Keeper invitation or onboarding email sent to you.
- Confirm that the invitation is expected and associated with your organization.
- Open the account activation link.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Important: Only open Keeper invitations that you recognize and trust. If you receive an unexpected invitation, contact True Synergy Networks before proceeding.
Note: Some organizations provision users through Single Sign-On and may provide a direct Keeper login link instead of a traditional activation invitation.
Step 2: Choose Your Sign-In Method
Keeper supports different authentication methods.
Your organization determines which method you should use.
Option A: Microsoft 365 Single Sign-On
If your organization uses Microsoft 365 SSO:
- Open the Keeper login page supplied by your organization.
- Enter your assigned work email address.
- Select Next or Log In.
- If prompted, select the Enterprise SSO option.
- Follow the redirect to your organization’s Microsoft sign-in page.
- Enter your Microsoft 365 credentials when required.
- Complete any required multifactor authentication.
- Wait for Keeper to open your vault.
Important: Do not create a separate Keeper Master Password unless your organization’s onboarding instructions specifically require one.
Note: With Enterprise SSO, your organization’s identity provider authenticates you. You generally do not need a separate Keeper Master Password.
Option B: Keeper Master Password
If your organization uses Keeper’s standard Master Password login:
- Open the approved Keeper activation or login page.
- Enter your assigned email address.
- Follow the account creation instructions if this is your first login.
- Create a strong, unique Master Password.
- Confirm your Master Password.
- Complete the required email verification or authentication steps.
- Sign in to your vault.
Important: Your Keeper Master Password should be unique and must not be reused on other websites.
Keeper uses a zero-knowledge security architecture. True Synergy Networks does not have access to view your Master Password.
If you forget your Master Password, contact True Synergy Networks for the approved recovery procedure.
Step 3: Open the Keeper Web Vault
The Keeper Web Vault allows you to access your saved credentials directly from a supported browser.
Open Keeper
- Open Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox, or another supported browser.
- Visit https://vault.keepersecurity.com, unless your organization has provided a different approved Keeper address.
- Enter your work email address.
- Complete your assigned sign-in method.
- Wait for your encrypted vault to open.
Note: Your organization’s account may use a different Keeper region or login destination. Always follow the information supplied by your administrator.
Explore the Vault
After signing in, you may see:
- My Vault.
- Folders.
- Shared Folders.
- Favorites.
- Record search.
- Create New.
